Samuel is an integral member of the Tax Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team. He is a core member of the litigation team of the firm with vast experience in general litigation in both trial and appellate courts.

Before joining MAS, Samuel was the Managing Partner of Samuel Akpologun & Co and one of the first team of editors of the Tax Law Reports of Nigeria (TLRN) and Tax Law Journal of Nigeria (TLJN).

Samuel is a consultant to various leading Non – Governmental Organizations including, Rule of Law and Advocacy Centre, CLEEN Foundation and Project Alert on Violence Against Women. He is also a member of the Working Group on the Implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, Network on Police Reforms in Nigeria and the Nigerian Bar Association. He is a member of Network on Police Reforms in Nigeria and the Nigerian Bar Association.
